New York CNN —Two million Black+Decker steamers have been recalled after more than 80 reports of burn injuries, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Thursday. More than 500,000 of these steamers were already recalled in November 2022, but the recall expanded Thursday to include 1.6 million more. The recall noted that 94 of the 317 reports happened with repaired steamers from the 2022 recall or from models with an updated design. Some customers received a replacement upper assembly as part of the 2022 recall — those customers should receive a refund as well. The steamers were sold in store and online at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, as well as other retailers.

New York CNN —Tyson Foods is voluntarily recalling about 30,000 pounds of its dino-shaped chicken nuggets after some consumers reported finding small metal pieces in their patties. The recall, announced on Saturday, is for 29-ounce plastic bag packages containing frozen, “fully cooked fun nuggets breaded shaped chicken patties,” according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. There has been “one minor oral injury” associated with consumption of the nuggets, according to the USDA, but no other reports of harm so far. But officials at the agency said they were concerned consumers may still have bags of the recalled “fun nuggets” in their freezers, and advised anyone who does should discard or return the product immediately. Tyson advised purchasers and consumers of recalled nuggets to cut the UPC and date code from the packaging and call or text 1-855-382-3101.

Packages of Kraft Foods' Singles cheese slices are displayed at a supermarket in New York. Kraft Heinz recalled nearly 84,000 cases of Kraft Singles cheese slices on Tuesday after multiple customers reported a choking hazard. After it received the complaints, Kraft Heinz discovered a manufacturing error in a wrapping machine used to enclose the cheese slices in the plastic. The issue in some cases caused a thin strip of plastic film to remain even after customers took off the packaging, Kraft Heinz said. Kraft Heinz urged all customers with affected products not to eat them and to return the cheese slices to the store where they purchased them.

For example, a company may tout the $5 million in its renewable energy investments for the year. Lyon: Greenwashing is any communication that leads the listener to adopt an overly favorable impression of a company's greenness. You may get a company that says: Look at this, we invested US$5 million in renewable energy last year. Instead they're coming from a voluntary offset that's offered by some free-standing producer that's not included in a cap. You can look at the whole movement toward renewable energy and companies that produce solar or wind energy.

There’s hardly any products now that don’t use a barcode for identification.”Who got there first? A replica of a package of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Chewing Gum used in a Smithsonian museum exhibition. Researchers have built autonomous delivery robots that can climb stairs. Delivery companies are always on the lookout for the next big innovation in the sector. Some big names have also developed their own autonomous delivery robots, like Alibaba, whose robots are becoming ever more prominent in daily life in China. These robots will be used for last mile delivery and will start operating in a pilot phase this year in Esplugues de Llobregat (Spain), Hamburg (Germany), and Debrecen (Hungary). These autonomous delivery vehicles would represent "a significant reallocation of the carrier's costs and would make the service more economical and efficient than with conventional vehicles," it continues.
